The Regional Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Program at St. Joseph’s Hospital is the first clinic to partner with police for victims of human trafficking. It's the first point of care for women, children and men who have experienced sexual assault, sexual abuse or domestic violence. Dr. Susan McNair is the medical director. Dr. Michael Lee-Poy is a graduate of the PGY3 program in Academic Family Medicine and an adjunct faculty with the Department of Family Medicine. He will be presented with a Family Physician of the Year award from the College of Family Physicians of Canada at Family Medicine Forum in Montreal next week.
