Visiting Electives
Welcome to the Department of Family Medicine. Please complete the Visiting Electives Request form by clicking on the link below.
Important Notes:
- Rotations must be a minimum of 4 weeks in length (1 block) and align with our current rotation schedule
- Requests for the current academic year must be submitted at least 6 months prior to the intended start date of the rotation
- Requests for the next academic year will be reviewed in March/April
- Incomplete requests will not be processed
- Submission of this form does not mean that your request has been accepted, further communication will be provided regarding the status of your request.
- Please note that there is no funding for accommodation/travel for residents completing a visiting elective in the region; further, there are no preceptor stipends offered.
