Family medicine still great career despite Ministry restrictions
Dr. Stephen Wetmore, Chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, spoke with CBC's Ontario Morning about the hurdle graduating GPs face in the current job market. However, even as the Ontario government has restricted their ability to join family health teams, Dr. Wetmore reassures residents that the future of family medicine is still bright.
