In Memoriam: Dr. James McAuley

Dr. James McAuley, a professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and researcher at Western’s Bone & Joint Institute, died Dec. 28 following a battle against a brain tumour. The university’s flag will be lowered today at 11 a.m. in his memory.
Dr. Peter Fowler appointed to the Order of Canada

Dr. Fowler is an internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Surgery at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry. He was the co-founder and former medical director of the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic at Western and has served as Chief Medical Officer to Canadian National teams at Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
