In Memoriam: Dr. Marcelo Kremenchutzky
It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of Dr. Marcelo Kremenchutzky on Monday, October 1, 2018.
Dr. Kremenchutzky was a faculty member in Clinical Neurological Sciences at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and a world renowned expert in multiple sclerosis (MS). He was also the vice chair of the Research Ethics Board at Western University, and was involved in the care of thousands of patients with MS and contributed to important research in the field.
After being diagnosed with lung cancer, he became a passionate advocate to end the stigma for non-smoking lung cancer patients, and to advocate for access to better treatment and early diagnosis.
