In Memoriam: Dr. Graham Chance
It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Graham Wilfrid Chance, professor emeritus in the Department of Paediatrics and founder of the Perinatal Outreach Program, now the Maternal Newborn, Child & Youth Network.
Dr. Chance passed peacefully on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018.
Throughout his career as a professor at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and a neonatologist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare London, he promoted patient and family centered care and was the driving force behind family involvement at the bedside.
Those who knew him say Dr. Chance was driven by hard work, guided by his faith and had a passion to care for others. He had endless compassion and dedication to his profession.
He will be missed by the neonatal, paediatric, and obstetrics communities in Southwestern Ontario and across Canada.
