Conditions of Appointment document approved
On May 2, Dr. Davy Cheng, Vice Dean, Faculty Affairs, and Chair, Conditions of Appointment for Physicians Steering Committee, announced that final approval of the 2017 Conditions of Appointment for Physicians (CAP) document was obtained from Western University’s Board of Governors on April 26, 2018.The approval comes after many months of work by staff, faculty, Clinical Chairs, the Clinical Teaching Association, the Professional Staff Organization, as well as the Office of Medical Affairs, Schulich Human Resources, Office of Faculty Relations, decanal leaders, Office of Faculty Affairs, Provost Office, and the Dean.
Dr. Cheng’s office, in coordination with Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s Human Resources Department, will continue to work on an implementation process for this document and will provide further information as it becomes available.
