Congratulations to the 2018 PARO (Professional Association of Residents of Ontario) Award Recipients from Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Dr. Parham Rasoulinejad, assistant professor, Department of Surgery, Dr. Daniel Pepe, PGY3, Department of Family Medicine and Amanda Sauvé, Medicine class of 2018.
Each year PARO honours physicians, residents and medical students in Ontario for excellence in teaching, development and improving the welfare of fellow medical learners.
In the Excellence in Clinical Teaching category, Dr. Rasoulinejad was honoured for a commitment to patient care, quality of beside teaching and interest in the trainees’ personal development.
In the Resident Teaching Award category, Dr. Pepe was recognized for providing outstanding clinical teaching experiences to junior residents and clinical clerks.
Amanda Sauvé was honoured with the Citizenship Award for Medical Students recognizing those who have made a significant contribution towards improving the general welfare of fellow medical students.
