Graduate Report
Planning is underway for the Graduate Program’s on-site session that will be held in-person from September 16 - 20, 2024. One MClSc student has accepted their offer and will be commencing in the 2024 fall term.
Congratulations to Dr. Rimpy Cheema who successfully defended her thesis “Experience of Community Physicians Who Provide Medical Assistance in Dying in Canada: A Qualitative Analysis” on May 22,2024. Many thanks to the Examiners (Drs. Judith Belle Brown, Tom Freeman and Jean Marmoreo), Chair (Dr. Sonja Reichert) of the Examination and her Supervisors (Drs. Shannon Sibbald and George Kim) who helped Dr. Cheema achieve this important academic milestone.
Congratulations to Dr. Sudit Ranade who received his PhD at convocation on June 13, 2024.
Dr. Makoto Kaneko (PhD) and Dr. Chioma Onuoha (MClSc) will be presented with the Dr. J. F. Sangster Graduate Studies Family Medicine Award at the Graduate Studies Awards Ceremony on September 19, 2024. Please join us in congratulating Drs. Kaneko and Onuoha in receiving this award.
