Dr. Brett Plouffe - Second Year Fellow
Hey, I am Brett and I am one of the first-year PEM fellows. I did my Pediatrics training here at Western and was captivated by the Pediatric Emergency department early on in my first year. The entire department is so welcoming and a great environment to work and learn, right from the physicians down to the ancillary support staff. There is ample opportunity for hands on learning, and the didactic teaching that you receive is among the best that Western has to offer. The emerg group is exceptionally tight knit and I really enjoy being able to meet up with others for various sports or other activities throughout the year. I cannot think of a better place to continue my fellowship and am looking foward to what the next 2 years have to offer.
