Cardiology
The Cardiology Program at Children's Hospital, LHSC is the tertiary referral centre for infants, children and adolescents with congenital and inherited cardiac disease in Southwestern Ontario, and provides specialist cover for the Emergency Department, In-patient unit, Paediatric Critical Care Unit, and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The Paediatric Cardiac Program is a fully integrated program with specialized services including consultation and echocardiography, arrhythmia assessment including-- 24-hour Holter Monitoring, Trans-telephonic Event Recorders and Loop Recorders. Pacemaker surveillance and Stress testing (routine and metabolic) are also available. Consultation for Maternal/Fetal echocardiography is available.
