Postgraduate Program Report
On behalf of the Postgraduate Program I would like to extend a warm welcome to the incoming PGY1 residents! The new academic year is off to a great start and we have some exciting new innovations that we have implemented.
We have rolled out our new electronic resident assessment system across all of our programs. Numerous features have been added to enhance the functionality of this novel assessment system. The field notes provide daily constructive feedback on the Family Medicine competencies and skills. They also provide a means to track resident progress throughout residency.
There are some important dates coming up over the next few months. The annual golf tournament will be held on September 30th, 2015. The Family Medicine Forum will be taking place in Toronto on November 11th - 14th, 2015. The CaRMS interview weekend will be taking place on January 23rd and 24th, 2016.
