Postgraduate Program Report
What’s new? The MOHLTC has just released a new physician compensation program for new graduates wishing to join a FHN or FHO outside of areas designated High Needs. Details regarding the New Graduate Entry Program (NGEP) can be found on-line. Thank you to the faculty members and residents that provided feedback regarding this program. Numerous concerns have been raised and these are being discussed at many levels.
CaRMS 2015: CaRMS recruitment dayss are rapidly approaching. This is always an exciting time of year where we have the opportunity to show our enthusiasm and demonstrate to applicants why ours is a great residency training program! We can’t do this without your help so please mark your calendars with these important interview dates:
- CaRMS IMG interviews on January 15th, 2016;
- CaRMS CMG interview weekend on January 23rd and 24th, 2016;
- CaRMS 2nd iteration interview day on March 19th, 2016.
Resident Retreat: The 19th annual Family Medicine Residents of Western Fall Forum Resident Retreat will be taking place from November 20th to the 22nd. This retreat is always a great opportunity to learn about the business side of family medicine and find out about job opportunities available upon graduation.
