Family Medicine Grand Rounds - Respiratory Season Updates 2024/2025

Please join us for Grand Rounds in Family Medicine on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, to be held via Microsoft TEAMS (webinar) from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Alexander Summers, MD, MPH, CCFP, FRCPC, Medical Officer of Health, Middlesex-London Health Unit, will present, "Respiratory Season Updates 2024/2025."

Session learning objectives:

At the conclusion of these Grand Rounds, participants will be able to

  1. Identify the current and projected epidemiology of COVID-19, influenza, and RSV.
  2. Implement IPAC practices for primary care for the 2024/25 respiratory season.
  3. Identify and communicate details regarding key interventions to minimize community respiratory disease, including vaccination.

This one-credit-per-hour Group Learning program meets the certification criteria of the College of Family Physicians of Canada and has been certified by Continuing Professional Development, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University for up to 9.0 Mainpro+ credits.  Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent participating in the educational program.
