LEAP Mini
The Pain and Symptom Management Program, in conjunction with the Department of Family Medicine, will be offering a LEAP Mini program (certified by Pallium Canada) on August 16 and 23 from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine. In order to receive your certification, you must be in attendance for both four-hour sessions.
Pallium Canada’s LEAP Mini offers a broad introduction to the basic concepts of palliative care in a Top Ten Tips Format.

- Nausea, Nutrition and
- Hydration
- Pain
- Delirium
- Dyspnea
- Essential Conversations
- Advance Care Planning & Decision-Making
LEAP Mini is led by Pallium Canada’s Certified Facilitators who are experienced palliative care clinicians and educators.
This Group Learning program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada for up to 16.50 Mainpro+ credits.
