Faculty Development: Supervising Residents in QI Projects
Join us on Wednesday, October 11, as Adrienne Wakabayashi, Postgraduate Academic Program Coordinator, and Dr. Scott McKay, facilitate a faculty development session on Supervising Residents in QI Projects as part of the department of Family Medicine's faculty development series.
The session will explain the requirements and expectations for the resident project and talk about strategies for being a great project supervisor. Adrienne will also be answering questions and discussing topics that were recommended from the survey that was sent out to faculty, and from people in the room, so please bring questions if they have them. As a reminder, the questions asked in the survey are “What project-related questions do residents ask you that you wish you had a better answer for?”, and “What are the biggest challenges you have in being a resident project supervisor?”
Faculty Development sessions are held from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. in Room 1150 of The Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine (WCPHFM), 1465 Richmond St., London, ON.
If you cannot attend this session in person, please join us by livestream. If you experience difficulties connecting, please contact ETMS at 519-661-2111 ext. 83035 for assistance.
When live-streaming it is important to start promptly at 8:30 and conclude at 10:00 a.m. Please ensure you arrive and are seated before 8:30 a.m. to avoid disruption once the session begins.
