Schulich Medicine Education Conference
The Schulich Medicine Education Conference will take place on Friday, April 1, 2016 at the Ivey Spencer Leadership Centre in London, Ontario. To register, visit the conference web page.
Conference highlights include opening remarks by Dr. Michael Strong, dean, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, program updates from Schulich Medicine education portfolios, and faculty development workshops to enhance your teaching and professional skills. Workshop details and discussion topics will be posted on the conference web page early in the New Year.
The conference will culminate with a cocktail reception hosted by the Regional Academic Directors, followed by a semi-formal dinner and keynote address by Dr. James Rourke, dean, Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University. Dr. Rourke was founding director of the Southwestern Ontario Rural Regional Medical Education, Research and Development Unit (SWORM/SWOMEN - 1997) and assistant dean, Rural Regional Medicine (2002-2004).
The Schulich Medicine Education Conference will provide a wonderful opportunity for you to share best practices and acquire new knowledge and skills, as well as meet new colleagues and reconnect with friends and peers from London, Windsor and the distributed region.
