The Child Protection program within the Department of Paediatrics at Children's Hospital is a comprehensive and integrated program that provides a seamless and coordinated quality of care to children and families where there is suspected and verified physical, sexual abuse or neglect. The Child Protection Team (CPT) is consulted on every case within London Health Sciences Centre. The consultant physician and team social worker provide assessment and intervention consistent with their professional standards of practice.
