SRTP and SROP Funds
Introduction
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology fosters student research in women's health care and reproduction. Medical research students working with faculty is supported through various research funds. The Finance Committee (FMC) will consider applications, as they are received, based on the schedule below. Faculty may only submit one request per academic year (July 1st to June 30th).
The Clinical Chairs agreed to co-fund the Schulich Medicine & Dentistry (Schulich) summer research activities, with the goal of increasing student interest and participation in research. As a result, the faculty member who will act as the supervisor of a research student must seek approval from the Finance Committee prior to applying for a research student. The Department will fund up to two (2) students per year.
