Urogynaecology

The trainee will be responsible for:

• core urogynaecology clinics and ORs
• initiating a research project
• coordination of urogynaecology teaching rounds
• teaching Ob/Gyn residents and medical students

Objectives - Year 2

The trainee will be responsible for:

• working in subspecialty rotations (urology, colorectal and minimally invasive gynaecology surgery )
• consolidation of clinical urogynaecology skills
• completion of a research project

Graduates of this program will be qualified to take up posts in academic medicine or in community medicine with an academic affiliation

• pelvic surgery
• pelvic anatomy
• laparoscopic, robotic and minimally invasive surgery
• clinical and basic science research

The deadline for applications is May 31st of the year prior to the year in which the candidate wishes to commence training.
