Credentials Verification

Verification of Postgraduate Credentials

The Postgraduate Medical Education Office is able to verify the credentials of its graduates. An official letter will be produced that verifies the dates of training for either postgraduate residency program or fellowship. 

This credentialing is for Residents and Fellows who have finished their training and are applying for a license to practice medicine. 

Former medical students who have completed the M.D. program at Western University and require verification of attendance and/or degree, please visit the Undergraduate Medical Education Credentialing page.

Verification requests must include:

  1. Written request
  2. Signed consent form by physician
  3. Payment

Note: Processing of requests may take up to 3 weeks, or longer if all documentation needed is not present and/or if verification needs to be completed by a Program Director.

Verification Services:

Standard verification letter -- $50.00 CDN
Verification of performance and training -- $75.00 CDN

Payment Options:

The PGME office only accepts payment made online using a Visa or MasterCard
