Andrea Mataruga, BSc, MSc Student
Andrea completed her bachelor's degree in Honours Science at the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a focus in biology, health sciences and statistics. During her undergraduate career, Andrea discovered epidemiology, and thus began her Masters of Science at the University of Western Ontario in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Andrea is focusing her thesis work on the epidemiology within global surgery and raising awareness of the bias within research complemented by various biostatistical and data visualization tools.
