Dr. Puente is a family physician at the West Middlesex Health Centre in Strathroy, ON and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Western University. WMHC is one of the core regional training sites for residents and medical students in the Department of Family Medicine and a member of the Thames Valley Family Health Team. In addition to office based practice, Dr. Puente practices low risk obstetrics and inpatient medicine at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, and works in Long Term Care at Strathmere Lodge.
