Dr. Putzer completed his undergraduate degree in kinesiology at Western University and his medical degree at The Medical University of the Americas in Nevis, West Indies. He then completed his family medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in Springfield, Illinois before returning to Western and completing a fellowship in Sport and Exercise Medicine at the Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic. He is currently an Assistant Professor at The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry in the Department of Family Medicine and splits his time between the Western and Fanshawe Fowler Kennedy clinics where he enjoys treating all types of athletes and performing ultrasound guided injections. Dr. Putzer has served as the team physician for the London FC soccer and Western Men’s soccer teams. He is currently the team physician for the Western football team and has covered two Canada Games.
