Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day is happening on the 19th of June 2013, at the Westin Harbour Castle, in Toronto. Abstract Submission Deadline is May 13th 2013 - don't wait too long to submit as we have a limited number of presentation slots and posters spots available!
In addition, we are excited to announce the keynote address for the Trillium Primary Health Care Research Day, June 19, 2013.
Dr. Jacques Lemelin, Primary Health Care Lead, Champlain Local Health Integration Network and former chair of Department of Family Medicine at the University of Ottawa, will keynote with a presentation entitled : "The Role of Primary Care Research in the Emerging Primary Care Networks in Ontario."
We are very fortunate to have a leader in PHC as well as policy and research at the LHIN level discussing the potential benefits of integrating Priamry Care Research into the emerging Primary Care Networks in Ontario and the needed collaboration amongst all stakeholders.
This keynote address along with the distinguished lecture by Dr. Ruta Valaitis (Primary Care and Public Health Collaboration: The Time is Ripe); the two skills workshops, 1. Applications of Time Series Methods in Primary Care and Health Services Research, and 2. Social Network Analysis, and the paper/poster presentations, create a great day of learning and sharing for those involved in primary health care research in Ontario. Hope to see you there!
