Postgraduate Report
The Family Medicine Postgraduate Program would like to sincerely thank Dr. Vikram Dalal and Dr. Michael Craig for their years of service and congratulate them on pursuing their new endeavours as they leave their respective clinical teaching positions in the Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Dalal was a clinical team lead at the Southwest Middlesex Health Centre in Mount Brydges practicing family medicine, hospitalist care and emergency medicine. Dr. Craig was a clinical team lead at the Middlesex Centre Family Medicine Clinic in Ilderton practicing comprehensive family medicine and played a key role in our postgraduate program as the Academic Program Coordinator.
We would also like to send a huge thank you to Kelsey Klages for her years of service as the Postgraduate Education Manager. Kelsey has played an integral role in developing our program and assisting our residents and faculty. Kelsey is moving on to a larger role in the Medical Imaging Department. We will miss her very much and wish her well!
Following the completion of the CaRMS matches, we are pleased to report that our program has filled all our residency positions. As this academic year comes to a close, we would like to thank all the faculty and administrative staff for all their hard work in supervising, supporting and teaching our residents. Wishing you all a wonderful summer!
Last but certainly not least, we wish to congratulate all our graduating residents and wish you all the very best as you venture out into practice or into additional enhanced skills training programs in July. It has been a pleasure training you all over the past couple of years (even with the additional challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic)! You have all certainly had a unique training experience compared to graduates of just a few short years ago.
