Western University COVID-19 Protocols

As you probably know Western University has mandated COVID-19 vaccinations for all faculty members, including clinical faculty, and staff even though they may not be on campus on a regular basis. 

Note: Western’s protocols are separate from that of the hospital.

It is a requirement for all faculty members to upload proof of their double COVID-19 vaccination, even if you won’t be on campus very often. You will need your vaccination receipts for the first and second dose on your phone or computer to upload.

You should have received an email with a link to do this, but if not, you can request a link be sent by contacting Schulich HR for a personalized link to be sent. Information is available at takecare@uwo.ca.

Other things to know if you need to come to campus for any reason:

  1. Proof of double vaccination must have been sent to Western.
  2. The daily COVID screening questionnaire must be completed before coming to campus. This is sent to you each day by email and just takes a few seconds to complete.
  3. 3 Ply medical masks must be worn when inside buildings on campus and can be removed when you are alone in an office or room or to eat as long as physical distancing is in effect.
  4. Room capacity limits must be observed, including in the WCPHFM
