Department Spotlight: Natalie Au
Meet Natalie Au, the newest full-time staff member on the Diabetes Alliance and a rising star in the emerging field of real-world hypoglycemia research.
Natalie began her MSc in Epidemiology & Biostatistics under the supervision of Dr. Stewart Harris at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science from Western University in 2016. During this time, she completed her master’s thesis supervised by Dr. Stewart Harris, and began working part-time as a Research Assistant on the Diabetes Alliance, where she became heavily involved the InHypo-DM study.
After successfully defending her thesis, Natalie joined the Diabetes Alliance in April 2019 as a Full-time Research Assistant, dedicating her knowledge and expertise to support the Hypoglycemia Program in its effort to enhance the understanding of the real-world impact of hypoglycemia. We look forward to seeing what’s in store for Natalie as she continues her endeavour to drive the field of hypoglycemia research forward.
