The Diabetes Research Team was awarded the Dean’s Award of Excellence for Team Innovation for their Indigenous Quality Improvement Program, which is an accumulation of over a decade of work with Indigenous communities. Their collaborative effort shows significant potential for further adaptability and sustainability throughout First Nations communities across the country.
