Postgraduate Program Report
CaRMS 2018: Congratulations on a great CaRMS 2nd iteration match. We filled our remaining positions with many of our top ranked candidates. A sincere thank you to all of the staff that helped with this event, as well as to the faculty and residents that were involved in the file review and interviews.
Triple C update: There are some exciting new changes coming July 1, 2018 to the Faculty Advisor Form, now named the Periodic Review Form. The Periodic Review Form will soon be mapped to the Competencies and Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) for our program.
Program Policies: In preparation for the start of the new academic year, please take a moment to review the program policies. They can be found at this link “Policies”.
Residency Awards: You will soon receive an email regarding the awards that are given out at graduation. Please consider putting forward a nomination to acknowledge the excellent work that our residents and faculty are doing.
Important Dates:
- Residency Program Internal Review will take place on May 15-16. The internal review is an opportunity to review the program’s strengths, and also to highlight any challenges. Representative residents and faculty have been emailed to attend the review.
- Resident Project Day will take place on June 13. We are looking for faculty to judge the oral presentations and posters for this day. It will be a great event to celebrate the scholarly activity of our residents.
- Resident Graduation will be taking place on June 15.
