Based on the results of our Faculty Development Needs Assessment, and substantial evidence from other universities, we have revamped your Western Family Medicine Faculty Development Program. Faculty Development: Revised and Revamped was presented by Dr. Stephen Wetmore, Leslie Boisvert, and Lauren Siegel on September 13.
A new communication vehicle has been set up specifically for faculty regarding professional development opportunities. The Department of Family Medicine Faculty Development Dispatch is sent out at the start of each month, and provides details on the full scope of Faculty Development events and opportunities taking place during that month.
A full event calendar has been set up on the new Faculty Development web page to aid in scheduling and notifying you of upcoming sessions.
Past sessions are archived and available to view on the official Schulich Livestream Channel. Once you create a livestream account you will be sent automatic email notifications prior to any upcoming sessions.
The next faculty development session is on Wednesday, November 8 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 1150 of the Western Centre for Public Health and Family Medicine.
Join Emily Leighton, Crystal Mackay, and Michelle Stubnya, as they facilitate a faculty development session on Social Media for Faculty.
