Postgraduate Program Report
Happy New Year from the Postgraduate Program.
CaRMS 2017: The CaRMS recruitment days will be taking place on January 13th, 21st and 22nd. We will be interviewing over 600 candidates. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the faculty, staff and residents that have offered their assistance for these events. We couldn’t do it without you. Match day is March 1st, 2017 and the CaRMS 2nd iteration interview day is tentatively scheduled for March 16th, 2017.
Internal Review Update: The internal review for the 2-year program will now be taking place in the Fall of 2017. We have started the process of completing the pre-survey questionnaires. Many of you will be asked for input in completing these forms. Furthermore, we will be requesting your presence at specific meetings with the internal review team.
Triple C Update: We have implemented the new competency-based In-Training Evaluation Reports (ITERs) for all rotations. These new ITERs have been tailored to reflect the unique competencies and Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) associated with each rotation. Next steps include adding the EPAs to the field notes.
