Staffing Updates - Fall 2023
Fall 2023
We would like to welcome Drs. Anwar Al-fayume, Leonor Hernandez, and Jeffrey Lovell who joined the Schulich family in July of this year. You can read about them again in our June newsletter.
It has also been a busy summer at Schulich Dentistry with many new staffing changes. This fall we welcome Harpinder Kaur (left), Mark Rose (centre), and Cindy Taggart (right) to Dentistry, and congratulate Kasia Jones, Michelle Ritchie, and Karina Koren as they transition into new roles.
We are pleased to share that:
- Kasia Jones has been hired as a reprocessing clerk after a contract role in the main clinic dispensary.
- Harpinder Kaur has accepted the role of Research Associate to support Dr. Quiñonez’ research. Harpinder has a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, a Master of Health Policy and Administration, and a Master of Science in Dental Public Health.
- Karina Koren has returned after completing a part-time contract as a Research Administrative Assistant and she is providing support to the Dr. Quiñonez in an Administrative Coordinator role as Sherri Moore transitions back to work. This past summer, Karina graduated with a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies degree from Western.
- Michelle Ritchie has been appointed to the Administrative Assistant, Patient Services role previously occupied by Cindy Littlejohns. Michelle has been working in the clinics as a Dental Assistant since 2018.
- Mark Rose is the new Clinic Systems Support Coordinator. Mark is a certified Electronic Engineering Technologist and has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western University.
- Cindy Taggart now works at the front desk in the adult clinic. Cindy has extensive administrative experience working with students, patients, and physicians.
