After a lengthy recruitment period following the departure of Kylie Willis, Dentistry's Vice Dean and Director's Office was pleased to announce that Pamela Duncan was appointed as a Financial Assistant on February 6, 2023. Pamela shares the accounting responsibilities for Dentistry with Andrew Kralka. A graduate of Fanshawe College with diplomas in Accounting and Purchasing, Pamela brings many years of purchasing and accounting experience to the role. 

Samir Shaheen also started last month in the role of Technical Specialist in the Dental Clinics, replacing Mahdi Moslim who recently retired. Samir brings significant hands-on experience installing, training, and maintaining medical equipment. Samir has an Engineering Degree and considerable knowledge of various hardware, software, and network applications which will be significant to Dentistry. If Samir looks familiar, it may be because he most recently worked with Steris Canada, which brought him to our clinics.
