Dents 2024 Shares the Warmth

Last January, Dents 2024 student Felipe Souza Da Costa approached the Director's Office.
Impressed with the success of the recent "November to Remember" fundraising campaign during which the School raised over $5000 for London's Unity Project, he asked for support in spearheading a drive for warm clothing and footwear for Mission Services to distribute in the community.
Over the course of a week students, faculty, and staff dropped off coats, sweaters, boots, and other much-needed warm weather wear. The drive was a hit and Felipe was able to deliver a full bin of items to the Mission Store on behalf of Schulich Dentistry.
In October, Felipe was ready to do it again. With encouragement from Vice Dean and Director Dr. Carlos Quiñonez, another drive was launched just after Thanksgiving weekend and our community stepped up once more with another bin full of new and gently used items.
