Please join us in welcoming Dr. Hassan Mostafa and Dr. David Favell.
Dr. Mostafa (pictured, left) graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in 2000 after completing his BSc here at Western, and is excited to help our students develop their surgical skills and help to prepare them for their careers. Also a clinical instructor locally for various courses in continuing dental education, Dr. Mostafa can be found in our oral surgery clinic on Fridays.
A busy "hockey dad" of two who has also served on the boards for Kings University College and the Nazem Kadri Foundation, Dr. Mostafa fondly recalls his time in dentistry school. "I loved the camaraderie among all the students," he said. "Especially the Canadian students that formed a strong bond while studying in Michigan."
Dr. David Favell is a returning Western DDS grad teaching in our Simulation Clinic. His skills include orthodontics as well as reconstructive, rehabilitative, and implant dentistry. A previous instructor of restorative dentistry as well as oral medicine and radiology, this London Knights fan is as passionate about learning as he is about teaching.
