Schulich Dentistry welcomes new Director of Operations
Lisa Johnson will be replacing Acting Director Elana Whelan, who had stepped into the role earlier this year until a permanent director could be recruited.
To her new role, Johnson brings with her expertise in management finance and administrative operation, as well as her experience as a staff member at the School. She has been involved in multiple initiatives at the School, as Chair of the Clinical Managers’ Group, a member on the We Act Committee 2017, and a committee member for the School’s Emerging Leaders Pilot Project.
Prior to joining Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Johnson was the Controller and Manager of Corporate Services for the Local Health Integration Network and has held a number of finance-related roles with the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care.
Johnson holds an bachelor’s degree in commerce and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
