Schulich Dentistry Annual Research Day on October 14, 2015
Schulich Dentistry is hosting its Annual Research Day on Wednesday, October 14th. Join us as we celebrate the research, innovation and collaboration of our faculty and students. The day will feature student poster presentations and the 14th John T. Hamilton Distinguished Lecture, delivered by Dr. William V. Giannobile, DDS, DMSc.
Dr. Giannobile is the Najjar Endowed Professor & Chair of the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, and also a Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the College of Engineering. Dr. Giannobile has lectured extensively in the area of Periodontal Regenerative Medicine, Tissue Engineering and Personalized Medicine. Currently, Dr. Giannobile serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Dental Research, is the immediate past president of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, and is also a consultant to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for Dental Devices.
Dr. Giannobile’s presentation is entitled: "Future Prospects for Oral and Periodontal Regenerative Medicine."
