Fees & Deadlines

Application for September 2025 admission is now closed. Application for September 2026 admission will be announced soon.

Application Fee:

A non-refundable administrative fee of $275 CAD is required, payable only by certified cheque, money order, or bank draft, made out to Western University Schulich Dentistry.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Course:

Registration for this limited-enrollment, mandatory course is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Once your application and supporting documentation have been reviewed and verified and your application is deemed complete, all eligible applicants will receive an email with a unique registration number to register for the course. Course registration begins June 3, 2024 and ends September 6, 2024 at 11:55 p.m.

More information and details can be found on our Continuing Dental Education (CDE) website as they become available. The course begins in October.

Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) Exam Fee:

The non-refundable fee for the mandatory, one-day practical exam is $800 CAD. The PLA Exam is normally held in mid-March.
