Membership
The objectives of The Centre for Quality, Innovation and Safety are to develop mentorship, coaching and development opportunities, while providing and promoting education and research in Quality Improvement activities.
With a faculty base of members within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Department of Medicine, collaborations within the University, hospitals and the entire healthcare community play a significant role in areas such as education, innovation and research opportunities. These collaborations strengthen the framework for quality improvement and innovation throughout the faculty.
Members include those who have specific higher educational training specifically in Quality Improvement/Patient Safety (QI/PS) or have done a higher degree where a significant component of its curriculum was around QI, those who are working towards a higher level of QI/PS experience, and those who are interested in participating in QI/PS activities and engaging in training and events through the Centre.
