Announcement: Dr. Tang receives Canadian Cardiovascular Society Award
Congratulations to Dr. Anthony Tang, recipient of the 2017 Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) Research Achievement Award.
Dr. Tang is a Professor in the Department of Medicine at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and the Scientific Director and CEO of CANet, a not-for-profit organization housed at Western University dedicated to transforming Canada’s arrhythmia health care system through integrated trans-disciplinary research and development. He receives this award in acknowledgement as an established investigator working on an aspect of cardiovascular research in Canada.

Highly respected among his colleagues, Dr. Anthony Tang is a researcher at the highest level of achievement. The Cardiac Arrhythmia Network of Canada is extremely proud of Dr. Anthony Tang’s accomplishments,” said Dr. Pierre Boyle, CANet Board Chair.
The prestigious Research Achievement Award was created in 1982 in recognition of research excellence. Dr. Tang will be recognized at the CCS Awards Ceremony on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017, during the 2017 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) in Vancouver, BC.
