In Memoriam: Dick Philp, PhD
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dick Philp, PhD, on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the age of 83.
Dr. Philp was a professor emeritus at Western University having retired from a distinguished 43-years in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry. His accomplishments as a researcher and educator were immense as were his contributions to medical science and to the generations of students who were influenced by his work.
At Dr. Philips request, there will be no public service. In lieu of flowers, donations of remembrance may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Boys & Girls Club of London.
