Announcement: Dr. Rieder awarded Yaffe Lifetime Achievement Award
Congratulations to Dr. Michael Rieder who has been named as the 2017 recipient of the Sumner J. Yaffe Lifetime Achievement Award in Pediatric Pharmacology and Therapeutics from the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group.
This international award is given annually in recognition of significant and sustained contributions toward the improvement of children’s health through the field of paediatric pharmacology. Dr. Rieder is a clinician-scientist who serves as the chair/chief of the Department of Paediatrics at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry.
He is being recognized for his enhancement of knowledge about the use of drugs in children, treatment of paediatic disease and his role in training the next generation of clinical pharmacologists.
