In Memoriam: Dr. Sally Galsworthy
It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Dr. Sally Galsworthy. A long-standing supporter of the Western University community, Dr. Galsworthy held various positions at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry throughout her career, serving previously as a faculty member, undergraduate chair and vice-dean of the Department of Microbiology and Immunology. She also supervised and mentored many students and graduate-trainees during her time at the School and was highly-esteemed for her outstanding teaching abilities.
Dr. Galsworthy will be remembered at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry for her numerous contributions to the school, as well as being one of the primary architects of the Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMSc) Program.
