Schulich Dentistry alumni receive Ontario Dental Association Service Award
Two Schulich Dentistry alumni received the Service Award from the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) in 2015. The Service Award recognizes outstanding contributions to dentistry through activity or service at a component society, specialty section or provincial level for a period of ten years or more.
Congratulations to Drs. Donna Green, DDS’79 and Arthur Worth, DDS’78.
At her graduation, Dr. Green received the Gold Medal in Dentistry, which is the highest academic award presented to graduating students. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International and the International College of Dentists, and has been actively involved with both her component dental society and the ODA for several years. She is also a former part-time faculty member at Schulich Dentistry.
Dr. Worth has served his component dental society and the ODA for many years. He was President of the ODA in 2012-13. He holds Fellowships in the Academy of Dentistry International, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the American College of Dentists. Dr. Worth is currently a part-time faculty member at Schulich Dentistry. In 2014, he received the School's Alumni of Distinction Award.
“These two Ontario dentists serve as great role models for the profession and our students,” said Dr. Richard Bohay, acting director, Schulich Dentistry. “We are proud of their accomplishments and their connection to Western and Schulich Dentistry.”
