Dr. Andrea Lum extended as Chair/Chief, Department of Medical Imaging
We are pleased to announce Dr. Andrea Lum has been extended as Chair/Chief, Department of Medical Imaging in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and its teaching hospitals, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London effective January 1, 2017 to June 30, 2017 or until a new Chair/Chief is appointed.
Dr. Lum graduated from the University of Ottawa in 1983, and completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology in 1988. Dr. Lum joined Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Western University in 2000, and has since been actively engaged in leadership roles within Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care. Dr. Lum was previously Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology Program from 2001 to 2003, and has continued as Director of Abdominal Imaging for Radiology Resident Training from 2005 until present.
Currently, Dr. Lum is involved with or sits on more than40 committees. In 2008, she was awarded the Resident’s Choice Award for her Outstanding Commitment to Radiology Education, Department of Medical Imaging at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.
