In Memoriam - Norton Wolf
It is with great sadness that we share the news that well-known London businessman and philanthropist, Norton Wolf, has died.
Wolf was known in the community for his generous support of health, education and the arts. He and his wife Lucille made important contributions to the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry’s Robarts Research Institute, along with London's hospitals. Together they have also been strong vocal supporters of the tremendous research taking place at Robarts and across the University.
Recently, the couple extended their contributions to London Health Research Day, helping to establish the Lucille & Norton Wolf London Health Research Day Trainee Publication Awards, as well as the London Health Research Day Lecture Series, which is also named in their honour.
A prominent businessperson in the city, Wolf made a name for himself as a real estate developer, founding Carlton Realty and serving as the chairperson of ICORR, an international development company founded by his son, Ron. He was inducted into the London Business Hall of Fame in 2001.
