Dr. Schemitsch selected for OTA Bovill Award
Congratulations to Dr. Emil Schemitsch, Professor and Chair/Chief, Department of Surgery, whose paper, "Simple Decompression vs Anterior Transposition of the Ulnar Nerve for Distal Humerus Fractures Treated with Plate Fixation - A Multi Centre Randomized Controlled Trial" has been selected by the Orthopaedic Trauma Association for the prestigious Bovill Award.
Dedicated to Edwin G. Bovill, Jr., MD, (1918 - 1986) Surgeon, traumatologist, educator, academician, gentleman, and co-founder of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, the Bovill Award recognizes the most outstanding scientific paper presented at the OTA Annual Meeting. Over 800 abstracts were submitted for the OTA 2016 Annual Meeting.
Dr. Schemitsch will present his award winning paper at the OTA Specialty Day in San Diego on March 18, 2017.
