Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
The Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Western University was founded in 1959 by Dr. Robert McFarlane and is dedicated to the provision of excellence in patient care, providing a superb educational experience for our medical students, residents and fellows, and creating new research in the area.
The Division serves a population base of 1.5 million people stretching over all of Southwestern Ontario and possesses subspecialty expertise in hand surgery, reconstructive microsurgery, breast surgery, adult and paediatric craniofacial surgery, burn care, peripheral nerve surgery, aesthetic surgery, wound healing, and cutaneous malignancies.
