Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Division of Respirology at Western University! We are a group of dedicated clinicians and scientists that provide innovative care for patients across our campuses at the London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph Health Care. With close to 20 academic Division members, we provide general and specialized Respiratory services for patients across southwestern Ontario in a diverse range of inpatient and outpatient clinical settings.
Our academic mission is to integrate a comprehensive undergraduate and postgraduate medical education program that includes the support of our strong basic, clinical and translational research programs. Our two-year, fully accredited Royal College training program provides a comprehensive experience for trainees in a supportive and dynamic learning environment, and we are proud to be able to offer further subspecialty training in focussed areas including Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary Hypertension, Complex Airways Diseases and Interventional Pulmonology.
